Since your accomplishments are seldom noticed,
and you are rarely thought of, you are expendable.
That doesn't mean your job isn't important but if you
were in Star Trek you would be killed off in the first
episode you appeared in.

So here it is the end of the weekend already. I had to work a little yesterday morning, but it wasn't really much like working, since all I had to do was drive to the office, pick up the mail at the post office, and put it in our area. Took less than two hours, then I came home.

I went a little nuts Friday at Big Lots. I was unaware one could actually spend $60 at one time at Big Lots... (well, that's not entirely true, we have bought furniture there before) Anyway, I picked up a few things we'd needed and several things I just wanted because, hey, once in a while Big Lots HAVE cool things.

Nothing else of any importance has been done. I wrote to a dear old friend, but haven't written anything else in what seems like weeks. I'm doing a long string of seed beads which takes some work since I'm doing it with my sudden inability to SEE seed beads with my glasses on (so my old trick of doing handy work while watching TV is starting to give me headaches). It's time for either bifocals or Lasik. I'm leaning toward the latter. As soon as I have the money.

I did not watch the Superbowl. We played Baldur's Gate. We finally got out of the Underdark. We had to kill about a dozen Beholders. This was NOT a simple task.

Did you notice that Big Lots! has the chocolate fountains on sale for $32? They were on the top shelf in the electronics section.

No candle warmers, though.

Oooo, no, I missed those. Of course, I need one of those like I need a horse-drawn coach... (but oh, the want!)

I'm not really Jean-Luc Picard, but that's what my I.D. says. They won't know anyway. ;-P

We don't have a Big Lots here, but I can go to a Wal-Mart or Target and spend $100 on nothing without even trying. I just love stores like that, or the Christmas Tree Shop, where every aisle is a new temptation of mostly unnecessary stuff. No wonder my house is a museum of clutter.

Yeah, that's about the size of it. :)
