Last night we finally got to see Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. As awesome as expected. Thoroughly enjoyable. Had a grand time.

I just read an absolutely GLOWING review of the new Pride & Prejudice, which the NY Times seems to have absolutely adored -- the only problem being that Keira Knightly is "too pretty" to be the less-attractive Elizabeth Bennet. Now I want to see it (I'd heard harsh commentary on it because, well, it's not the Colin Firth edition). Heck, Judi Dench is Lady Catherine de Bourg. That's gotta be worth a ticket, there.

I'm going through a crisis of media. I'm SURE I bought (or owned) certain CDs and/or DVDs at some point, but cannot find them now, and wonder if I a) dreamed buying them, or b) bought them as gifts so did buy them, but do not now own them. Our house is so small my media collection is stuffed into nooks and crannies all over the place, not centralized in one convenient location, and I've reached a point where I really don't know what I own and what I don't (this actually goes for books, too). Since iTunes is so simple, I've taken to just ripping everything I think of so I can at least catalog most of it that way (2,983 songs, 13.67 GB). One of the tough parts about such things is show tunes -- medleys are often clipped into individual tracks, and when one plays on shuffle, this can get confusing (or weird). I need to re-install my sound editor and make some of them back into single tracks so they can be played as the CD meant them to be played, and excise some of the partial discs I've ripped and replace them with the entire disc.

ETA: This is a good article. Nice to see that other religions are attempting to cope with science as it bumps into faith, too. (And, I have to say, with less difficulty than a wide swath of Christians...)

I'm always up to see another version of P&P.

Few religions seem to have as much trouble as the Christians and Muslims do with scientific developments.

I always found a lot of sense in Buddhism spirituality... I just had trouble with meditation and meatless-ness.
