Yes, I've cut out sugar, and cut WAY back on caffeine, in an attempt to try this two-week starter low-carb diet thing. Read all the information, figured it's worth a shot to kick-start me again, and I've heard there's benefits other than weight loss in the reduction of sugars/caffeine/etc. in one's diet. Only two cans of Diet Coke yesterday, that's a real drop for me. I went to the store on Tuesday night to get Caffeine-Free Diet Coke, but they were all out of Fresca, C-F Diet Coke, and Diet Sprite (Coke products were on sale). This tells me someone out there is doing the same thing I am... so I settled for low-cal lemonade, and it's okay, but it's not fizzy. I seem to need fizz.
Be that as it may, it was the main reason I didn't try the chutney. :) (See rahirah )
