Wow. I can't wait to collect my millions.

Today we went to the Tempe Street Fair (Arts Festival, whatever). Lots of booths to look at this time of year - it's always HUGE in the December one. The guy who does Head'n Home Hats had MY HAT available, in every size... and at $350, I just can't afford it. *sob* Someday, it will be mine. Someday, it will be mine. (I wear M/L, in case anyone did actually receive their millions.)

There seemed to be a sudden glut on the market of silver jewelry made from both sterling and plated vintage silverware - found a ring with our formal pattern, but it was size 6, which is about pinky-sized for me, and this ring was too chunky for a pinky ring. Dang. Our everyday pattern was there in a pendant and earrings, which tempted me, too. I ended up not buying much of anything except food -- the deep-fried Snickers I had wasn't a patch on the one I'd gotten at the State Fair a few years back, though. It was okay, but not the Heaven-on-a-Stick I remembered. Woe is me.

Actually saw very little in the way of presents, which is the main reason for going to these things in December - Oh, plenty of things my friends would like, but very little of those that matched my budget.

On the whole, a pretty good day. Even managed to get a little laundry done.

when your millions come in go get that hat. Wow that's about twice what similar hats cost at the Ohio renn fest.

I know what you mean about cruising those festivals. Plenty to buy so little that fits the budget.

That's what it costs on the website, too -- they make extremely good solid leather hats. The Havisham is a really high quality piece. I've had my cowboy hat from them since 1996 and it's in perfect shape. (Was, in fact, wearing it today.)
