Freaky...

Okay, this is weird.

I have both TVs on, as I do sometimes, when I'm wandering from one room to the other.

The TV in here is about three seconds AHEAD of the one in the living room. Same channel. Same show.

Is this some weird, freaky thing with digital cable I've never seen before? Because it's freaking my freak.

I think digital typically runs 3-5 secs behind standard broadcasting. That always happened when I had digital in the living room and cable in the bedroom. :)

I've never had this happen before, though, and we've had digital for a couple years now. I'm just easily weirded out, I suppose. :)

There's a rift in the time-space continuum, and it's IN YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE MIGHT IMPODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OTOH, maybe The Doctor will show up to save you.

We have the same thing happen with our satellite reception, there's a few seconds difference between the feed in the living room and the feed in the bedroom. It drives me crazy when I have the same thing on in both rooms while I'm cleaning or whatever, because of the echo-y effect in the middle.

Yes! That's what it's doing.

At least I know I'm not the only one it happens to (or that I'm also not the only person who routinely has two televisions on at once... :) ).
