It was pretty awesome.
I am very tired; I fell asleep in the sun at Paradise Beach thereafter, having eaten jerk chicken and drunk three little cups of Jamaican rum punch. We didn't get to do any shopping 'cause Mom was tired just walking up the stairs along the falls (which actually may have been more strenuous than the falls themselves) and she fell in the ocean and almost lost her ship's card (I do wonder what happens if you lose your "sail n' sign" card), but we found it and got back on with no troubles. "No problem, mon."
I remembered I did want to buy rum in Jamaica, but we came back to the ship, and we're about to set sail, so oh well. No shopping in Jamaica. Maybe on the ship (no more ports).
The television channels on this ship confuse me. The programming is in English, but all the commercials are in Spanish. The channels appear to be normal TNT and Cartoon Network, but the language keeps changing.
Tonight is supposed to be an Elegant Evening, but I have boot camp at five. I have no idea how I'd manage to sweat for half an hour and still get dressed in a gown and down to the dining room by six. I may skip it today, since so far it's always started late anyway. Some time I want to come on a cruise and NOT live by the schedule. I may skip one day of boot camp, so there.
I left my iPod charger back at Mom's place. Oops. I was listening to music the other evening and forgot to turn it off, so the battery's nearly completely drained.
My Kindle charger looks like acid was spilled on it or something; all the plastic is breaking off suddenly. It's quite peculiar. I hope it still works.
This morning I somehow jammed my finger into a corner of a hand rail coming down the stairs, it caught my ring and now my finger is hugely swollen and bruised, and there's even less chance of getting this ring off.
I also seem to have a lot of bruises on my legs, probably from bumping into rocks on the climb.
I can't believe tomorrow is already the last day of the cruise!
