Nothing to See Here

Wil Wheaton humor.

He is donating the money to charity (he's been cleaning out his garage today and auctioning off cool things he's finding, like shooting scripts and the like--this one was just silliness that got out of control on Twitter).

I should use him as a role model and get off my butt and clean. We were going to clean all the things today but all I've done is sleep very late, do two loads of laundry, and use the new vacuum. We did Mom's shopping and now I'm watching more Eureka. I really should do something except eating M&Ms.

Occasionally, my favorite destress activities is to pillage through closets/garage/basement and THROW THINGS AWAY. Or take them to the local Salvation Army.

Its awesome when I'm finished - and I'm already wearing all the M&M's I ever ate around my waist anyway.

I really ought to do that. I'm a very bad one for "I haven't used this in ages... but look HOW AWESOME IT IS! I can't get rid of THAT!" and back it goes into the closet...

Well, my method is to outgrow my clothes which I don't recommend.

snort. I saw him auctioning off one of his copies of Stand by Me. The ping pong is funnier.

The Stand By Me DVD was the first thing to go up. Then things got silly. I had to go back through all his tweets and read about how it started.

The DVD is up to $760 bucks and Silas the Crappy Dented Ping Pong ball is up over $1000!!!!!!

At least it's for a good cause.

I haven't been on twitter since early. I'll have to go look myself.

Wow that's great. THis is one of those things that I'd love to bid and contribute but realize i could compete for about 20 seconds

It's rather cool. I couldn't compete at all, at those prices!

well true. I'm thinking he put it up originally at a decent price but i could be wrong and then yes, no competition am i

I am in shock that the ping pong ball is going for that much.

I KNOW! But at least it's going to the Pasadena Humane Society, which makes it basically a large donation to a good cause (if you can afford fun like that, why not?).

Oh, definitely! I just hope it doesn't go the same way as John Schneider's '67 Dodge Charger, which wound up with a great many very high bets - and then the winning bidder renigged and couldn't get the loan to buy the car.

We'll keep our fingers crossed. The bidding still has another day and a half.

This is why I'm totally Team Wheaton. I love Anne and Wil and their antics. And as a friend of a professional juggler, I sent him that list, and he was both offended and found it hilarious. I would totally choose the VandalEyes option on Silas.

Silas is up over $1,135!!!

Team Wheaton rocks.
