And So...

Argh, back up the two pounds I lost, and worse, it looks like another hard-work week at work, so there goes the gym again. I meant to go this morning, but last night about 3 o'clock Bo barked at something (undoubtedly a Very Important Cat in the yard outside or something equally vital), and I never could really get back to sleep. I was broiling hot so I shoved off all the covers, but was also covered with cats, which made moving said covers difficult at best. I think I dozed off a bit before the alarm finally went off, and despite this I wasn't exhausted all day at work, but I still gave the gym a skip. Stoopid me.

Work went by so fast I hardly had time to breathe; I couldn't believe it was already lunch time when it rolled around, I felt like I'd been there about half-an-hour; then I worked until 6, barely noting the time.

We lost one of our temps, who despite being a great worker, went two days without calling in, and that's pretty automatic. Our pregnant girl also hastened to the hospital today, having had contractions all day despite the fact it's almost a month early (although her doctor DID say the baby was already 6 pounds last week, so if they do have to deliver, it should be all right -- crossed fingers).

The temperature dropped suddenly from days in the low 80's, it's gonna be 61 tomorrow, but that sadly won't last very long.

I want something for dinner. I don't know what.

I didn't know I shared a coworker with you -- my pregnant coworker is also in the hospital, her water having broken six weeks early.

Good Thoughts to them both, yours and mine.

We won't know until tomorrow if they managed to stop the contractions -- her water didn't break, at least, not before she left!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I feel your pain. I ate everything in sight all weekend, so I'm sure I'll be back up when I weigh myself Thursday. :-(

Here's hoping your co-worker is OK, and that you get some sleep tonight.

I'm going through one of my semi-regular Mini-M&Ms kicks. I can't stop eating the damned little things.

I keep hoping for rain. They SAY we'll have rain, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I slept all day Sunday. So very dead. I think I'm finally over my cold. At least, I think all I have are allergies.

Thinking good thoughts for your co-worker! I hope it's only false labor and all will be well.

No rain, alas (although Barb said there were a few little spats on her car this morning).

Very tired, indeed.

False labor. She's still expecting in April!

Yeah, there was just enough scattered rain this morning to confuse drivers on the 51. :-(
