Yes, there is another review due, but fortunately, just one. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has regained the "Nitty Gritty" part of their name and returning to doing the music they were good at instead of the modern Nashville pop they were putting out as "The Dirt Band." The collective this time is Hanna, Ibbotson, Fadden, McEuen, and Bob Carpenter, which is mostly the lineup of the early seventies, with some deletions and one addition. Whatever, it's a good disc.
However, I WILL have to do another "essentials" list by next month, but this time it's Dwight, and that means I can pretty much cruise.
The hard part of that, though, is that Dwight Yoakam has a surprisingly small catalog when you step back and view it, largely due to re-issuing a LOT of the same material over and over and over again.
