But on the whole, much better.
From the garden:
I understand fans who don't like things. I have things I don't like that other people don't like, but I don't go around continually complaining about it. I loved Doctor Ten. No one can say I didn't. But I'm a Doctor Who fan, and I love Eleven, too. So it kinda bothers me when David Tennant fangirls whine and gripe about how horrible Matt Smith is. So they weren't Doctor Who fans at all, they just happened onto the show because the object of their affection was for a brief time the Doctor. It's worse than the complaints Peter Davison had to put up with because he wasn't Tom Baker. (And, to his credit, he's gone down as a great Doctor.) But some of us DO like Eleven and think he's pretty awesome, and even like the direction Moffat has taken the show. It's okay you don't like him. Awesome. But stop putting him (and the entire show) down because YOU don't like it anymore. It's been over a season now, get over it. Tennant's moved on to other things, and us Doctor Who fans are happy with Eleven. Eventually we'll likely be happy with Twelve, Thirteen, and however many others come along (whether they finish at 14 or not, I suppose, depends on how successful it remains). I can't recall I ever went around griping that I think Buffy and Angel were the Worst Couple Ever and them being together was bad for both characters, but if I did, I hereby apologize to all who think they were a Perfect Romance.
I forgot what office these two horses show the way into, but a few years ago someone climbed up and made one of them a unicorn. The horn's been up there ever since (the facing horse has remained a horse).
Craigslist actually works. I put up pictures of the old, unworking fridge that's been standing our backyard since the remodel, and someone wanted it within two days. Wow. He's coming to get it here this evening. Yay. Of course, that means we need to clean the back porch.
