All Things on a Sunday

So yesterday I carried my camera with me everywhere and saw nothing really all that interesting to take a picture of. Today I forgot it and we saw a mother hummingbird feeding her baby, not two feet away from us in one of the pine trees outside of Barb's mother's house. Of course.

In the last few years or so, my have-always-been-thin-and-weak toenails have developed the irritating tendency to not just crack and break, but flake, like mica, in layers. It doesn't hurt or anything, it's just... weird.

The best thing about this time of year is when I hang up laundry in the morning, it's dry by afternoon. Very, very warm very suddenly in Phoenix, surprisingly early, and I hope it doesn't mean a really horrible summer (but it does, I'm sure).

28th Street, 32nd Street, Oak, and 44th Street were all being worked on yesterday. It took us almost half an hour to go the mile or so between Barb's mom's house and Costco.

Okay. In the main, I still enjoy Glee, although more and more it's for the music -- and even that is starting to get me, since the last two disc releases have annoyingly cut out some of the tunes I wanted, such as the Kurt/Rachel Don't Cry For Me Argentina, which was astounding. Quite apart from that, seriously, shipperx has a hell of a good point about Emma.

Fringe, on the other hand, remains astounding.

I'm not sure how I managed to fall so far behind on my DVR stuff this week, since nearly everything is in reruns. Once again I have nearly two weeks' worth of Craig Ferguson episodes.

Suddenly I feel very snacky. Crackers and cheese sounds good, but I don't want to ruin my supper...

Instead made leftover beef stew into a pot pie and then had strawberries and chocolate! *hugs!*
