And today is Day 72

Friday. I am done with work for two whole weeks. We weren't even CLOSE to being done when I left. Oh, well. Too bad. While I've been generally happy with our new supervisor, who was my old supervisor, she gave me the first "level 1" rating I've ever received in all my time there. Strict, much? I shall leave it behind me, and let them deal. (I really almost hope they founder in the water without me there. I can't help myself.)

I had to return my cute little rental car today. After driving it for a full week I put into its gas tank FOUR GALLONS. FOUR. Twelve bucks. Roughly, roughly, 6 times less than what I put into my truck for a week's worth of travel. Hmmm. It may be what I'd save in gas would make up the extra cost of insurance and license fees. Of course, now I can't seriously consider getting a new(er) vehicle until the loan that fixed up the truck this time is paid off...

I am mostly packed. We are checked in online for both our flight and the hotel (so we can whip through the VIP line when we get there and get our combo room key/debit card/park pass--staying at a Disney resort DOES have some perks). At that point, I hope, my photos will become more interesting.

The critters you see climbing up the side of that sheer-appearing bluff are Arizona's own bighorn sheep. I think this was the first time I've ever actually SEEN any of them, and there were several out and about!

I'm sitting here wondering why I'm still so congested, then I remembered I still haven't taken the decongestant I pulled out of my suitcase. Perhaps I should get up and take it...

See ya in Florida (provided we get Interwebs access!).

You saw bighorn sheep! That's so cool. And I say "Fi!" upon your supervisor. Although I wonder if the managers are under pressure to raise the bar or something?

Happy Disneying! jenlev is there now, too. (Or leaving tomorrow or something.) And an agent friend was there this week but I think comes home tomorrow. I feel very left out of all the fun. :-(

We've always looked up at that bluff, but never saw the sheep! And THERE THEY WERE!

She's always been very hard to please, as I recall, it's just she's much NICER about it now... (My last two supervisors always gave me twos and threes... it was quite a shock to see a one!)

We'll have a good time, I'm sure!!! Woot woot! :-)

And have tons of fun at Disney!! Apparently, this is the weekend for it (we have several other friends who are at Disneyland this weekend).

If I remember the "Doing Disney" book, the first few weeks of November are good for Disneyland AND Disneyworld because it falls between the Halloween crowds and the holidays!

Yay bighorn sheep, and YAY vacation! I hope you and Barb have a fabulous, fabulous time. (How long are you going to be there?)

Four nights, five days in Disneyworld, then a three-day Bahamas cruise! Woot!
