Day 64



Having shown a closeup of the flower, here is what oleanders typically look like from a distance, usually used (as here) as someone's landscaping, fence line, or hedge:

I've always found it interesting that landscapers country-wide love to use a poisonous plant everywhere in their designs. I'm surprised there aren't more deaths by oleandering.

Most kids raised here are taught not to eat them. I've actually never heard of an oleander-related death (or even poisoning, oddly enough).
