And Friday Made it Day 32

Friday morning I felt better overall, but for some reason, my heel felt like it was bruised and it hurt like a mofo to walk. Still don't know what the deal it. It's BETTER today, but not completely fixed. Not sure what I did, it wasn't hurting on Thursday night when I went to bed, but sore when I got up. Apparently I spent a long night's hard sleep walking around really hard on rocks.

Friday's picture,

This is the last of the feral cats that used to hang around our yard; I call him Julius, because he's orange. (Rimshot)

Here's a bonus shot of Julius:

That first shot with...someone staring menacingly out the window is fab. And I hope you haven't developed plantas fasciitis, because that hurts like hell and can take a long time to go away.

That's Cairo, my little baby boy (he's ten now, but he's still my baby).

Gad, I hope not!

Me too. As I see others have said, baby it, buy heel cushions if necessary, and see a doc if it doesn't stop. Also, check out the Dr. Scholl's custom-fit orthotics "machine" that tells you what you need. Orthotics can really help align and balance stuff.

PS - And thank you for knowing I meant "plantar." It would be so nice if I could type.

Hee hee hee.

Dang it, that's two who think it's plantar fascia. I didn't DO anything to it! (Unless it was the walk home on Wednesday...)

you might have made that long walk in unsupportive shoes.

I was wearing my usual workout Skechers (although I will admit they're starting to get a little old, but they're good quality walking/running shoes; not top of the line, but good).

you'd be surprised how just a 'little old' can be damaging. I said that about my tennis shoes and ended up in the ER unable to move my ankle from the tendonitis one thanksgiving I think it was (have to ask ELD, she took me)

Yeah, that's what my workout book said, too. I guess it's time for new ones, since I really can't remember how old they ARE. (I should keep a journal or something...)

I'm pretty sure, thinking on it, that these ARE over a year old (already?!?). Hopefully I'll have a little extra this week in the ol' paycheck and can pick up a new pair. Then I'll mark my calendar...

Yes, ma'am!

It does still hurt this morning -- was wearing my cushioned Skecher sandals yesterday. I certainly won't be wearing heels!

yeah if it's still hurting, drop me an email. make use of your friendly not-so-neighborhood podiatrist
