I suppose I could keep on putting stuff in there and see what all of my work is like... I'm sure I'd end up with Stephen King or Dan Brown eventually!

His writing style is pretty good... until you get half-way through and he has no way to end it. And then you get to the end and go "Really? All those pages for this? Couldn't come up with a better ending than that?" :)

It's comforting for you. I got Dan Brown. Twice. (I did get Margaret Atwood from a blog post, but my fiction keeps coming up Dan Brown!)

I tried two pieces of fiction, the aforementioned "bit of fluff" I've been tottling around with, and the finished 1943 Billy the Kid novel I did for last year's NaNo.

Of course, I always persist because I have, in my memory, Edward Abbey himself (he was a creative writing teacher at the U of A when I was there) telling me, "You are a great writer. Unfortunately, you write crap." :-D
