Just finished watching The Lodger, which was a Right Proper Doctor Who episode, and am very very happy about it. The Doctor is as good a footballer as he was a cricket player (naturally).
Hee hee hee.
Have more or less finished the bedroom (ignore the messy aspects):

Today's been pretty good. Got to sleep in (yay Saturday), then we went to roam around the closeouts construction place, checking out the uber-low prices on construction remnants (it handles mostly stuff which has been ordered for jobs and then for whatever reason turned down), then to Tuesday Morning, Costco, and Trader Joe's for the day's extravagances. When we got home from Costco, got the very extremely pleasant surprise of rain in June (and it is astoundingly cool for this time of year today - and bear in mind that's "cool" by Phoenix in June standards). It acted like a monsoon storm, in that it blew in, there was thunder, it rained HARD for about five minutes, then blew out again leaving it very muggy and bright and sunny. But it wasn't a monsoon storm. I think.
Tomorrow we'll check out the huge new "El Super" Mexican supermarket that just opened in the old Home Depot that closed years ago when the new Home Depot opened down the street. It's nice to see new businesses moving into the empty boxes all over the place.
And, of course, thanks to cornerofmadness for the Lemur. One can never have too many lemurs.
