Kickin' back on a Sunday evening

Listening to the disturbing sound of something falling inside the dishwasher, which I just turned on. Hmmm. Don't think it broke.

Finished watching Four To Doomsday, a Doctor Five adventure, and turned to discover Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on TBS and started watching (of course, even though I have it on DVD). It's been a while since I watched this, and since the last time I saw it, I've become a fan of Fringe. So when Denathor first lifted his head, I was quite startled when I realized... "Hey! It's WALTER!"

Have spent most of the day lounging around on the sofa clicking eggs at dragonspam and gathering Easter Eggs. Not sure if they're anything, but they're PRETTY! I should have written or something useful, but I didn't. I ripped a few more CDs and reloaded my iPod, with what I thought was an outrageous number of songs (almost 3,000). Haven't even touched the capacity of the iPod. Whew.

It's Easter. I got to have a glass (or two) of wine. Yum.

Adopt one today! * Adopt one today! * Adopt one today! * Adopt one today! * Adopt one today!

I hate mysterious sounds that could be something but probably aren't. I used to hear this occasional echo-y boom from my kitchen, and it took me years to realize it was my old fridge. The metal was contracting or expanding (no idea which) as the temp changed.

Discovered this morning when I unloaded the dishwasher that it was, in fact, the little 1/4-cup measure that fell through the rack down under the sprays. It's aluminum, so no harm, just had to be hand-washed. :-)
