I'm a joiner

I can't resist these things:

Your Results:
The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.

Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

How did the Belief-O-Matic do?

I find it a little disturbing that Catholicism isn't even on the list. I knew I've been disagreeing with many Catholic tenets lately, but apparently it's gone just as far as my former Patriotism. Who knew I'd ever be sad I had a flag embroidered on my DashMat?

I managed to actually get some writing done today, but made the annoying discovery that since it's the first time in over a week I've had a chance to sit down to the computer, the scene I THOUGHT I'd written I did not, in fact, actually write down, just worked out in my head. Now I have to get it from my head to the computer.

Lucas is FINALLY releasing the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD (release date is September). Sadly for purists, it will be the "special editions," however, except for the obvious fact that HAN SOLO SHOT FIRST, I don't mind that. I think he should have put both versions on the DVDs, but that's just me.

Now all they need to release is Freakazoid and I'll be happy. Okay, many other things, too, but Freakazoid would sure help.

Well, it is only a computer quiz, after all.

Freakazoid on DVD is a longtime dream of mine! I keep hoping...

As for the *original* Star Wars, well... rackham bought me the Definitive Collector's Edition on laserdisc (years before the special edition and with non-compressed video) for Valentine's Day about ten or so years ago, and we DO have a DVD burner *cough* and we recently bought some hardware *cough*cough* and software for digitizing video *cough*hack*wheeze*

Now we just have to figure out how to make it work. Come to think of it, while it won't be as good as a storebought version... if I ever despair enough of seeing Freakazoid on DVD, I might have to see what I can do with getting my videotaped copies transfered over.

*g* Me, advocate piracy? Perish the thought.

I know I have several episodes of Freakazoid on tape somewhere, but I would have to search them out out, since I wasn't carefully keeping and labeling it like I was Animaniacs (since, at the time, I wasn't thinking, "This will go off the air," but rather, "I can always get it when it comes back around in reruns." More fool I!).

I knew about Star Wars and I'm very sad, I am! I heard an internet rumor that the episode of South Park were they try to stop Lucas from re-doing Raiders of the Lost Arc may have made him think twice about fiddling with it before it came out on DVD. Who knows, but it's a nice rumor anyway. I'd heard he wanted to replace the Nazi's guns with walkie-talkies. That wouldn't surprise me after how sanitized he keeps making everything.

I'm just glad I got the widescreen video set of the original movies!

I'd heard he wanted to replace the Nazi's guns with walkie-talkies.

That's hard to believe. It's difficult to threaten someone with a walkie-talkie. What would the Nazis say? "Stop, or I'll make this thing squawk again!" "Oh, no!" say our heroes. "Anything but feedback!"
