How odd is it that all three of the celebrity deaths this round were cancer-related? (And on breast cancer awareness day, even.)

It was pure luck I decided to wear pink today, since I forgot. *headdesk*

I don't have Photoshop. This limits my making new icons. I also have to load my camera, and I hope it works on this computer.

I haven't been to the gym in two weeks, tomorrow. This is mostly because of last week's backache and this week's insomnia; I could have gotten up this morning since I work up inexplicably at around the time my "early" alarm normally would have gone off, although I'd set the later one since I'd decided to not even TRY this morning because I was bringing a cake (party day). Go fig. Maybe tomorrow.

I was assured by our temporary supervisor that things will be all right and I don't need to have anxiety attacks keeping me up. We shall see.

Adopt one today! * Adopt one today! * Adopt one today! * Adopt one today! * Adopt one today!

Patrick Swayze, a couple days ago; Mary Travers (Peter, Paul & Mary) and Henry Gibson (Laugh-In, Boston Legal, etc.) yesterday. All various forms of cancer (although Henry Gibson was at least in his 70's0.

I don't even think there is a theme -- maybe railroads (the outside looks like an old depot -- it may have been more pronounced when it was newer). It just looks like your typical local bar, with slot machines and a few restaurants on the edges; it's kinda dark and there's a lot of brickwork -- the BBQ place is on the left when you come in, looks like just a hole in the wall (literally) with views of the giant brewing tanks and about fifteen (maybe) booths and a place to check in with your name. The big restaurant is across the room on the far side from the entrance, separated by a low brick wall. We never went in, but you could pretty well see most of it. The bar itself is right in the middle, in front of the BBQ place, one of those big squares with televisions above and blackjack slots at every seat. The restrooms are in the back, down the hall, past real old payphones and another entrance to the parking lot (across the parking lot is the Motel Six).
