Writer's Block: In a Jam

If you were in trouble or ran afoul of the law, which fictional detective or investigator—from tv, movies, or books—would you want to help you?

Unfortunately, in order to get help from Leroy Jethro Gibbs, I'd have to be in the Naval Services...

However, I do know I'd want Alan Shore to defend me!

In other news, I should be working on my writer's critiques, but I'm trying to catch up on some other stuff before I get started again. I'm late, as usual... *sigh* But I had a few items to ding-post:

My potato-leek soup is teh AWESOME. It's better the second day, even. And VERY good with a crisp Reisling.

Dale Watson is coming back to Phoenix, YAY! And it's a Thursday night show, so I can deal with one day of being a zombie at work. My editor at About is working with his publicist to get me another interview; so I'd have to think of some more questions... and consider a quiet place to chat with him, since the Rhythm Room is anything but quiet, even after the show!

And in checking out the Rhythm Room's site, I see the amazing Reckless Kelly is there next week; I have to consider if I'll be up for a Tuesday night show! Woop! It's honky-tonk season!

Yesterday my arm didn't hurt at all; today there were a few twinges. Next week should be my last weekly massage session, but I think I'll keep up at least once a month, since obviously, IT HELPS! Plus listening to her about not babying it and getting some serious upper body weight training back in -- I just need to remember to ice it once in a while.

And I'll say it once again: Michelle Obama rocks!

i'd probably work against myself if Gibbs and his team were working on my case, what with the distracting themby throwing myself at them.

hope you get that interview with Dale

Well, there is that (if I didn't kick Tony in the nads, first). Being Bi, I'd have it bad for everyone -- I love Abby's cuteness and her mind, and Ziva is JUST PLAIN HOT. Jethro is a babe, and McGee is adorable. Yeah, I see your point... LOL!

I have to think of things to ask him, though!

haha. Ziva IS hot and Abby's adorable and all the guys are cute. Heck Ducky is cute for a man in his late 70's

Yes, Ducky IS cute. It's a great crew, all the ways you look at it (I even like Director Vance).

Ducky's in his late 70's? Damn, I would have guess he was much younger!

I knew his shows from the 60's-70's and knew he had to be older than my parents so we looked him up over spring break. He's like 76 or 77. And yes, he's pulling off looking at least ten years younger

According to IMDB, he was born in 1933, making him three years older than my mom, and therefore 75 years old last September. He DOES look younger than that!

I think for Tony, being kicked in the nads might be considered foreplay. :D

The potato-leek soup sounds fab! And hugs for your shoulder, too...
