Halloween Cat

Train in Vain

Off to a pretty good start this week, for all I re-gained a pound or two after a couple of days of eating far too many M&Ms. So now I must be good and at least get back to where I was. I did make the gym this morning and got in a decent workout, then remembered it was jeans day today and swung back home afterward to change to jeans (yes, it's worth it). Very fast day.

I haven't been inspired to write much of anything in the last few days, other than nonfiction (see my interview with Dale Watson); and for a change, it's not been caused by the rejection slips (which actually are starting to motivate me); I think it's just one of those dips in my creativity. Or the weather, since we have most definitely reached the "too damned hot" part of the year, when it's too cold inside because of air conditioning, but when you go outside you can understand why it's cranked down so low. *gasp*

Today a couple of my co-workers and I discussed seriously who will die in the upcoming Harry Potter book, each of us putting forth our theories. At least there are some people I can talk to there... *g* One of them is even watching the "...days to" countdown (I only pre-ordered at Border's, I'm not THAT fanatical).

BBC America's online shop needs to catch up with its catalog(s). Twice now I've seen something in printed material as "for sale now!" at the BBC America online shop, and yet neither were actually available (and in the case of the second one, I found it at Amazon for $10 less, anyway).

And just 'cause, Puss -n- Boots:
