Catz is making me crazy

Silhouette is being very obtrusive. He sits right here by my computer and licks my arm (he wants more fuhd, of course). Of course, he scorned the last spoonful I gave him, as well as the spoon of chicken gravy which he previously LOVED. Stoopid catz.

Picked up from cornerofmadness:

1. Comment on this post.
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters and post their names and your comments on these characters in your LJ.

My answers for her letter of A:

1) Aragorn. That's a no-brainer. He was my first imaginary boyfriend.
2) Angel. My favorite heavy-browed brooding vampire.
3) Aslan. The great lion himself, Son of the Emperor-Over-The-Sea, not a tame lion, one of my earliest and favoritest heroes of all time.
4) Aral Vorkosigan. My favorite hero of my favorite SF romance story!
5) Amanda. Okay, she's one of my own; Sean Patrick's sire. But she came to mind, and her names (whichever one she's going by) always started with the A sound.

Sick, Cranky, or Stubborn?
He's been worrying me. This morning he insisted on drinking from the faucet forever. He's been meowing and meowing. If he's not careful, he's going to meow himself into a vet visit which he will not like, nosireebob.

I couldn't figure out why he's been so thirsty lately, but then I realized I substituted a bowl of fresh water for the gavity-fed watering station he's had since kittenhood (and which tends to get icky). I know he's drunk from the bowl, because I've heard his tag clink against it. I suspect he does not like the bowl, did not preapprove said bowl, and will not drink from the bowl except in extremity. Perhaps the tag clinks upset him. I've restored his beloved watering station. I'm also going to give him back his usual IAMS to see if that cuts down on his whining. If not, it's V-E-T time, boyo.

Sigh. I love him to itty bitsies. WHY do I love him to itty bitsies?!!

And this is the same cat that drinks soapy water from the bathtub after I shower! Fresh water in a bowl is not good enough for him!

Yes, we loves them to bitz. Even when they walk on us at 3 in the morning because they wants luvin'.

Durn cats.

I highly recommend the electric fountain/waterer - it's worked wonders around here. Cairo still occasionally stands in the sink expecting me to turn it on for him, but he does like having his running water.
