Things I think about

General notes:

I forgot to mention this last week when I did it, but important note: When shaking spices into soup, making sure there is a SHAKER top on the spice before dumping it into the soup. (An excess of turmeric only makes soup yellow, not unpalatable, fortunately.)

Tonight's meat loaf: 1 pound ground beef, four links of Johnsonville Brats, two eggs, random leftover crackers pulverized to crumbs, chopped onion, some Worcestershire sauce, garlic. Bake one hour. Top with amazing cherry-BBQ sauce that one of Barb's LJ friends sent us (deepest thanks, if you lurk here!). Yum!!!

Dragons: Some of my babies grew up...

Adopt one today!

Babies: Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

New accidental egg: Adopt one today!

I feel sad about the eggs I was forced to abandon (since you can only keep one when your dragons produce a clutch); some of them are in deep trouble. I guess those who picked them up didn't care to keep up the clicking!

Back to the real world...

In one more step to "go green," we have switched to "Swheat Scoop," a totally wheat-based cat litter, which, so far, has proved to be cat-approved, and is 100% flushable, biodegradable, dust-free, hard-clumping, as well as pretty nearly scent-free (even when used). I am pleased. And it's no more expensive than the Tidy Cats I was using.

And just in time, too, since Cuervo seems to have come all over with the Explosive Kitty Poo from Hell... (not dinner-time reading).

My sister-in-law has sent me the DVD collection Planet Earth for my birthday. Whee!!!

It's only Tuesday and I've already worked 21 hours this week. It's the start of the Busy Season for us. So have I studied? No, I have not. Well, three-day weekend approaches.

I would put codes for other dragons in need of clicks, but I'm a little tipsy from Honey Moon wine (only two glasses, honest!). So click the folks over at [Bad username: ishte's] journal, since she has the links for the dragon parents! Baby dragons everywhere thank you.
