Not a whole lot to sayI

After some intense cramming, I think I may actually pass my next insurance exam. (I have put off studying for the entire four months.) Must get some sleep tonight and be well-rested for the test tomorrow.

What dog breed are you? I'm a Bulldog! Find out at Dogster.com

On the one hand, Ellen! On the other, Duhbya? (shiver)

I suspect I'll need to get me a corned beef for this weekend. I always wear the green for a week or so around St. Pat's - I have so much green in my wardrobe I can go five or six days without repeating anything, except shoes this time, since I can't really comfortably wear any of my boots (I have two pair of green boots, one pair in suede, the other in smooth leather). I have a bunch of stuff to catch up with on Tivo, though, so I don't know if I'll have time to watch The Quiet Man....

I gained back a couple pounds in Vegas and haven't lost 'em, since I walked too much and made my foot sore, I haven't been back to the gym. Lazy, lazy. Hopefully I can get my act together soon.

[blinks] I'd totally forgotten about St Pat's Day -- thanks for reminding me. I too have to dig out The Quiet Man...

Rare the March passes when I don't get a chance to see it!

good luck on the test

We have made no St. Patrick's day plans.

I haven't even figured out what I'm cooking for Writer's Night this Saturday.

I have no plans for the actual day, because it's a Monday; but I'm sure I'll cook something special on Saturday.

I usually do the cabbage-potato-carrot stew with either corned beef or beef sausage.

Good luck on the test. And I'm impressed that you have not one but two pairs of green boots. I like to see someone who indulges their passions. *g*

Thanks! I passed.

I have way too many shoes... especially now, considering I can't wear most of 'em... *g*

Congratulations! (I thought it was tomorrow. That'll teach me to read lj backwards.) So what does this mean jobwise?

I always read LJ backwards, too. I often see the results before I know what it was all about... *g*

At the moment, nothing much; there's one more section and then I'll earn a "General Insurance" certificate, which will just look good in my shield, especially since I have no ambition to be a claim rep or anything; if I ever go into underwriting, though, it might help. Since my aim is still leaning toward Public Affairs and Administrative Services, I think it's just a "looks good" thing. However, since it is formal education, it DOES count as college credits, so maybe it'll eventually help get me that long-sought-after degree.

Good luck on the test!

Yay, St. Pat's! Boo, it's on Monday.

My result is soooooo totally wrong:

You are so that smart. *g*
Mar. 14th, 2008 05:05 pm (UTC)
Smart or not, I'm not that ambitious! And those career choices? ::runs screaming::

Oh, I see, the blurb doesn't include the analysis of how you'd sell out your friends for a corner office and the chance to be a CEO or banker...
