Another Sunday Afternoon

Today I went to the library to look up stuff on Las Vegas. Sean Patrick has dragged me there in my mind and so I've been watching the many shows that have been on lately about Vegas, which naturally always makes me want to know more. Some fascinating stuff, that little town in the desert. I then mentally asked my vampire why, since he's loved the town so long and has so much money and some amount of business savvy, why he never bought land in Vegas when it was at a premium. His response was, "I always go there to play, not to work."

You're India!

A great thinker and leader, you have a great deal of power despite
being really poor.  You like movies, cows, and you probably are a vegetarian and may
even be a pacifist.  You've probably been moving away from pacifism lately, though,
as you get more and more defensive that everyone around you is trying to hurt you.
How about a nice game of chess?

Take the Country Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid

This surprises me, and I wonder if I only got it because I love cows more than pigs, because the responses of "Anger" and "Go Ballistic" made me wonder if I was aiming to be the United States. Still, despite not being a vegetarian, I am at least getting more and more cynical and less likely to believe everything I'm told. The rose-colored glasses have been stripped from mine poor eyes.

On other quizzes, I initially came out with Gandalf and his responsibility-shirking; however, with many of the same answers, I came out with Merry and his insatiable bloodlust and then, with my third choices, Aragorn and his acute rabies... er, I mean, hydrophobia.

I appear to have only gained about five pounds over the holiday, which is pretty good, considering I spent a couple days doing little more than eating. Now it's back to counting them calories. I'm fairly certain keeping up with my workout is why the weight gain wasn't more significant, so, well, hooray for exercise.
