Baby Let Me Follow You Down

I picked up this link from nmissi, and feel the need to pass it on (and preserve it, for it is VERY hilarious):

If you haven't read it yet, go, enjoy! If you need a laugh, it will perk you up.

I will be out of contact for the weekend, which I am spending with my Mother - meeting in Vegas again - for Mother's Day. Quick little two-day trip, so I'm not bothering with bringing the laptop. I'll cope. *g*

They're starting to warn people again... are you ready for this...? Phoenix is HOT in the summer time! Be prepared! Drink water! Um... duh? (Okay, I know there are plenty of people living here who don't know the basics, but geez, if you move to the desert, be prepared for it!) The biggest clue to the approaching summer (it will be 105 on Saturday - in MAY) is the fact that my office is now freezing inside. This is why I keep a sweater there (the girl who used to sit in my cube kept a QUILT handy).

I'm going to have to stop at the Post Office next week or so and get 15 4-cent stamps (if they make them, which they should, with a 4-cent hike), or 30 2-cent stamps. I'm going to wait until the 25th to get Star Wars stamps for actual 41-centers, though. (Vote for your favorite stamp! - http://www.uspsjedimaster.com/main/splash.html ) Thirteen days left to vote, and the Yoda stamp is in first place! I am pleased to note that all the top five contenders are "Classic" (Real) Star Wars, but my choice is #5. I want Han Solo stamps, dang it!

I still haven't actually counted to figure out what I've got, but while doing the newsletter this week confirmed that I have a big-ish sheet of 1-cent stamps, so I can make do for a bit.
