Who knew I'd conquer the internet? Bwahahaha!
I loved last night's "Angel." I thought it was extremely enjoyable. Loved Lorne's resurgance -- He's needed to say "Angelkins" for some time -- and the werewolf girl was extremely likeable. Although could NOT help but note her extreme resemblance to Julie Benz/Darla. Angel remains all about the cute, petite, superpowered blonde chicks. But I liked this one, and the chemistry between the actors means maybe they'll bring her back. I for one would be happy with that turn of events. :) Very creepy, the werewolf diner. (Raf, my werewolf, was definitely displeased by that one!) I thought she was cool when she believed Angel when he said "I'm a vampire" without needing any proof.
Spike's being a little silly, not letting Fred consult anyone else with his problem. Of course, I do chalk that up to fear and suspicion, and I suppose anyone would be both terrified and suspicious in his position. It's not like he ever had any reason to trust Angel OR Angelus, and lately, Angel's been trodding REAL CLOSE to the Angelus line. How many humans have died since this season started...?
Speaking of which, Lorne mentioned Spike showed up "on the first day" they took over W&H. Yet they were already installed when Angel went to Sunnydale, 20 days earlier (he arrived the night before the apocalypse, remember). Wow, I'm a geek. :) Speaking of which, I was able to identify a ST:TNG episode before the credits rolled. Uber-Geek, indeed.
Dang, now it's a whole week until "Angel"!
Happy Boss Day, to whoever out there is a boss. We'll be celebrating for our pretty cool boss with a Mexican buffet. I had no chance to make anything for this party last night, so I should stop on the way to work and pick up something.
