In which I think

For a couple of days I've been meaning to keep up with my journal but I haven't had the time, so now here I sit wondering what it was I wanted to say.

I still haven't received one of the discs I'm supposed to review tomorrow, so I of course won't have to review it. The other I haven't started reviewing, nor have I opened my Word Processor to work on anything. I've spent the evening eating more than I should (I made cookies last night, so there, calories!) and making Doctor icons. Still, people I see every day have been complimenting my weight loss, so at least I'm sure the hard work is showing.

This has been the longest week in the history of long weeks. On Tuesday I was certain most of the day it was Friday, and that's a VERY disappointing feeling.

I've been feeling moody and out-of-sorts the last two days, which is the main reason for the cookies. I'm just glad I absolutely LOVED the season finale of Lost and the finale of House, both excellent. No deep thoughts on either, just my general impression of "I liked 'em."

I think I want something... I just don't know what it is.

Not too much happening otherwise. Work blahs, daily grind, I only made it to the gym once this week - I'll try for tomorrow, but I can feel myself not wanting to already. I hope I wake up perkier. Then I'm hoping a night at the honky-tonk tomorrow will cheer me up, followed by a lovely weekend. A lovely THREE DAY weekend, hooray!

Blahs...yep, got 'em too...

I've got a really long weekend, but I have a ton of things to do. I'd love to get the game started again, but I have a ton of reference I want to read first, and I just need less stress to feel creative.

Sigh. Maybe we can call this weekend?

I understand! I don't know what all the plans are for the weekend, but it would be great to hear from you guys! Probably Saturday night - my hope is a matinee of X-Men III so we should be home later. :-)

I'm always doing that.

No, seriously. In the middle of the afternoon, or in the evening, I'll think of something much more interesting than my usual rambling summary of what I did that I could say in the journal the next time I update.

And then I can't remember it.

Same thing happens with the essays. Had a brilliant (brilliant! I tell you!) idea Tuesday night for a different essay than this one, but then, when I was at the computer ready to type part of it up it was gone... completely gone. :(

I do hate it when that happens! Very often I think of brilliant, brilliant I tell you, ideas that never see the light of page because by the time it comes to sitting down and writing, it's all gone. Evaporated. Just think of all the great authoring that never gets done... ;)
