In other news, I should be working on my writer's critiques, but I'm trying to catch up on some other stuff before I get started again. I'm late, as usual... *sigh* But I had a few items to ding-post:

My potato-leek soup is teh AWESOME. It's better the second day, even. And VERY good with a crisp Reisling.

Dale Watson is coming back to Phoenix, YAY! And it's a Thursday night show, so I can deal with one day of being a zombie at work. My editor at About is working with his publicist to get me another interview; so I'd have to think of some more questions... and consider a quiet place to chat with him, since the Rhythm Room is anything but quiet, even after the show!

And in checking out the Rhythm Room's site, I see the amazing Reckless Kelly is there next week; I have to consider if I'll be up for a Tuesday night show! Woop! It's honky-tonk season!

Yesterday my arm didn't hurt at all; today there were a few twinges. Next week should be my last weekly massage session, but I think I'll keep up at least once a month, since obviously, IT HELPS! Plus listening to her about not babying it and getting some serious upper body weight training back in -- I just need to remember to ice it once in a while.

And I'll say it once again: Michelle Obama rocks!
