Okay, admittedly, the Judy Blumes I haven't read since Junior High, but there are a number of books on there I KNOW I should read (and I believe Maggie will be after me with a stack of books when she sees this list). I only read "Catcher in the Rye" a few years ago, and it's not a book that a 38-year-old can get much out of, because I kept thinking, "Geez, what a whiner!" I'm sure it would have been much more understandable when I was 18. I was also careful not to bold the ones where I have seen the movie or know the story, like "To Kill A Mockingbird" and "Tom Sawyer." I know, I know, I should read them...

"How to Eat Fried Worms" was one of my favorite stories when I was a kid. I wonder who banned it, and why?

Ah, payday! What a grand day. And a whole lot faster than yesterday, which was the slowest day in history.

I'm faithfully doing my yoga exercises every day, as well as firming/weight work, but I haven't been counting calories at all, as a result I seem to have regained a pound or two, but have stayed at the same pant size. Hmmm.

I wouldn't feel too unlearned, Kathy. There are lots of books I haven't read, and many I never will--including Private Parts by Howard Stern. Something must be done, however, about you're never having read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. I need to loan you one of my copies. Yes, I do have more than one.

Well, I did notice that a lot of what I've read is the crap that deserved to be banned rather than the highbrow, meaningful, or literary works. :)

Pffft. Besides, I don't think any books should be banned. If I did, pretty much the entire category of "chick lit" would be wiped out.
